Nokia N900 Launched In India For Rs. 30,639

Nokia N900 the flagship device from Nokia has been officially launched in India for Rs. 30,639. Nokia N900 has been the saving grace for Nokia after launching the hugely unpopular Nokia N97.

Nokia N900 has a 3.5" touchscreen display with a QWERTY keypad. It also has a 5MP camera with a Carl Zeiss Dual LED flash. Nokia N900 GPS and Quad-band GSM, EDGE, GPRS and WCDMA. The device is powered by an ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz processor with OpenGL ES 2.0 support and comes 1GB Ram.

Nokia N900 also has 32GB of memory which can also be expanded to up-to 48GB using a microSD card. The phone also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and has a FM transmitter.

Nokia N900 runs on Maemo which is a Linux based OS and a breakaway from the Symbian OS usually seen in Nokia devices. Nokia N900 can also run applications such as Firefox Mobile with add-ons support. In addition to that Nokia N900 also runs Ovi Maps and more.

Nokia N900 will be available in retail stores across India for Rs, 30,639.
