Breaking News! The German car giant Volkswagen is launching its new sedan Vento on July 6 in India with a tag price tag between Rs. 7 lakh-Rs.9 lakh to compete with the A3 segment like Honda City, Hyundai Verna and Fiat Linea.Volkswagen Vento will come with both two engines options: 1.6-litre diesel and 1.6-litre petrol engine. Both engines will produce 105 bhp with a speed manual gear delivering maximum torque of 25.5 kgm and 15.8 kgm respectively. The new Vento is a 4.38 meters long, 1.7 m wide and 1.46 m high and comes with 50 mm of extra wheelbase.
Volkswagen Vento also features a height adjustable driver’s seat, power windows, engine immobilizer, Air bags, ABS and EBD. The new sedan will be assembled in Volkswagen’s plant in Chakan, Pune, where Polo is produced.
The Vento will be available in new designs with five colors: Deep Black, Flash Red, Glacier Blue, Silver and Candy White.
