New HTML5 YouTube Mobile Sit

Mobile YouTube has been modified with more new features according to a report on Wired. It will now provide high quality video playback using the new HTML5 and also be more touch friendly.


As you may already know, the mobile YouTube site is meant for use by small screen handsets. In addition to the rich video quality, the web app s interface has been made better from the accessibility point of view with bigger buttons, which are touch screen friendly as well. Since H.264 is more widely supported on mobile handsets than the latest WebM, mobile YouTube supports H.264 playback by default. You can have a look at the new website by pointing your mobile browser to m.youtube.com.
